Cindy Nguyen '17

Cindy Nguyen is a student on our NYC campus, studying for her BBA in Advertising and Integrated Marketing Communications. She is the president and founder of Profashionals, and a Pforzheimer Honors College and Business Honors Program student. Cindy was also the winner of a $10,000 scholarship from Glamour Magazine and the New York Women in Communications Foundation. Cindy has been very busy this summer, interning at multiple fashion icons: Public Relations Intern at Yves Saint Laurent (May 2015 to July 2015), Public Relations Intern at Christian Louboutin (August 2015 – January 2016), and Editorial in-office fellowship at Glamour Magazine (August 2015).

Cindy says that "besides gaining invaluable friendships with my fellow interns, I've gained industry contacts and relationships that can take me to the next level. I no longer am worried about life after college but I am stoked to continue a career in fashion PR."

The Center for Student Enterprise

Check out the new video on the Center for Student Enterprise on the Pleasantville campus. It showcases three student-managed businesses: Pace Connect, Pace Mart, and Pace Perk. By the way, you don't need to be an entrepreneurship major to be involved in these businesses. Entrepreneurship is for everyone because it's about how to take an idea and make it a reality. That's what these students did.
