All in a Day's Work Out (NYC)
Who better to host a boot camp and whip us into shape than the Pace Student Veterans of America? Drop and give them 20 on February 26.
We may still be wearing our mittens and brushing the snow off our down coats, but with spring break on the horizon, it’s beginning to look a lot like swimsuit season. If you’re heading to South Beach and hate the idea of the South Beach diet, cabbage soup diet, or any other crazy cleanse, then how about you let the Pace Student Veterans of America (SVA) help you get in shape and get your adrenaline flowing?
Stop by the NYC Gym on Wednesday, February 26 as SVA helps us get in shape at a real deal military-style boot camp from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Boot camp will be a free (and fun) full body workout suitable for both males and females in all levels of physical conditioning and led by your student veteran classmates.
Food and drinks will be provided.
Next up for SVA: the 2nd Biannual Fitness Challenge, where students will be challenged to do as many circuits of 10 push ups, 15 sit ups, and 15 air squats as possible in 10 minutes. If you’re interested in winning $150 (one male, one female) or $100 prizes, e-mail James Johnson at firstname.lastname@example.org to compete on March 26.
