The Mic Is Yours
Now’s the time to bust a rhyme, crack a joke, or sing some folk at Open Mic Night at the Pace Perk.
Testing…one…two. We’ve seen America’s talent, but now we’re looking for Pace’s, so bring your singing voice, dancing shoes, stand-up comedy, spoken poetry, or even beatboxing to the Pace Perk Café for the event of the spring semester: Open Mic Night on Thursday, February 6 at 9:30 p.m.
Interested in performing? E-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
For those of you who’d like to keep your talents hidden, stop by anyway for a night of fun entertainment and food and drinks, and check out the Perk’s new look, complete with new furniture, rugs, and a wall designed and painted by a Pace art class.
Open until 1:00 a.m. daily, the Pace Perk was established by the Pace Association of Collegiate Entrepreneurs in 2010. What was supposed to be a five-week long run turned into a full-fledged student run business as the Pace Perk Café became a part of the Briarcliff location…and our hearts. Almost four years later, the Perk is your late night option for food, drinks, and hanging out, so whether you want to snack on some nachos, sing your heart out at an open mic, or play a round of pool, the Perk is your place!
