First-Year Students
First-year students must have completed high school and must provide proof of graduation to Pace University in order to register for classes and receive financial assistance. Please arrange to have your final high school transcript or equivalent, including official graduation date, sent to the Office of Undergraduate Admission as soon as possible. All final, official transcripts for all secondary and post-secondary institutions attended must be submitted before matriculation (first day of classes). If applicable, forward transcripts and AP/IB test scores from college work completed while in high school.
Transfer Students
Transfer students must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent. Transfers must provide proof of high school graduation or its equivalent to Pace University and send final college transcripts from all previously attended institutions in order to register for classes and receive financial assistance. Please arrange to have these documents sent to the Office of Undergraduate Admission as soon as possible. All final, official transcripts for all secondary and post-secondary institutions attended must be submitted before matriculation (first day of classes).
- Spring 2024: Transcripts must be sent no later than January 5, 2024
- Fall 2024: Transcripts must be sent no later than July 15, 2024
To satisfy the proof of graduation requirement, a student may submit at least one of the following:
- Final secondary school transcript from an accredited U.S. or international school indicating date of graduation (copies faxed directly from the secondary school are acceptable).
- Copy of secondary school diploma/completion-leaving certificate from an accredited U.S. or international school indicating date of graduation.
- Copy of state GED/ high school equivalency diploma or test scores indicating date diploma was issued.
- An associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in the U.S.
Transfer credits may be granted for courses with a grade of “C” or better and if the course is appropriate to the student’s program of study. Transfer credits will not be posted without an official transcript. If applicable, forward transcripts and AP/IB test scores from college work completed while in high school.
Important Note Regarding Transcripts
Failure to submit all final transcripts will result in a hold on your registration and may jeopardize financial aid awards.

Whenever possible, Pace prefers to receive transcripts electronically.
Pace University participates in several electronic transcripts networks: Credentials, Parchment Exchange, National Student Clearing House, and eSCRIP-SAFE. Confirm with the prior institution to determine if they participate in any of these networks. If a send-to email address is required, please use undergradadmission@pace.edu.
