On-Campus Tuition Remission

 Information concerning the University’s On-Campus Tuition Remission policy, for full-time and part-time staff, is available on the Human Resources web page.

 Manager’s Responsibilities: 

Attendance in classes is not permitted during an employee’s scheduled work hours, including during one’s meal break.

 Exceptions to the above must be approved in advance by Human Resources and are only allowed in very limited circumstances: the class must be required for graduation at the end of the current academic year, the class must not be an elective, and the class must not be available at any other time during the day.

 If an exception is made and approved by Human Resources, the manager must clearly document, on the On-Campus Tuition Remission Application form, how the employee’s schedule will be amended to make up the time spent in class.
