Interlibrary Loan Delivery Options

Regular Mail

Normal delivery options for books and photocopies for all other patrons is "Hold for Pick-up". Loaned books are held at the designated University library for the requestor to pick up. There are other options for articles and photocopied material.  Delivery options for Distance Learning Students are different and can be found on the Distance Education Students Services page.

Email (Digital Sender)

Requested articles or book chapters can be sent to the email of the requestor. It is scanned and converted to PDF format. The requestor should have Acrobat Reader on his computer in order to retrieve the document in PDF (Portable Document Format.) If you do not have Acrobat Reader, you may download it -- free of charge -- from the Adobe Acrobat Homepage.

Electronic Delivery

This option allows the requestor to retrieve the article online from the ILLiad server, also in PDF format. The articles remain available for 30 days or until deleted by the requestor. To avail yourself of this service, you have to indicate in your ILLiad profile your preference for electronic delivery.
