Alumni Association Board Committees

Career Services Committee
This Committee identifies programs and opportunities that address the career-related needs of Lubin students and alumni. The Committee strives in maintaining ongoing relationships with Pace Career Services by assisting them in achieving goals that will benefit Lubin students and alumni.

Communications Committee – Richard T. Nix and Renee Willis, Co-Chairs
This committee works to communicate the message and mission of the board and alumni through seeking opportunities for publicity on our activities on the University Web site or Pace Magazine and through working with the Special Events Committee to encourage involvement at University events and activities.

*Constitution and By-Laws Committee – Angela C. Kong, Chair
This Committee monitors and maintains the existing constitution and by-laws of the Lubin School of Business Alumni Association ("LSBAA") to ensure that it supports any changes in the objectives and goals of the LSBAA, its Board and other standing committees of the Board. The committee also annually reviews the existing constitution and by-laws of the LSBAA to determine if they are consistent with the goals and objectives of the LSBAA, its Board of Directors (the "Board") and the other standing committees of the Board.

Lecture Committee
This Committee obtains speakers for the Lubin Alumni Association board meetings and hosts and sponsors lectures, forums and discussions on topics of relevance and interest to Lubin alumni, often led by one or more Lubin alums, providing opportunities for all to continuously expand their knowledge and at the same time, network with those who have similar interests.

*Nominations Committee – Susan B. Lubalin, Chair
This Committee recommends a proposed slate of directors and officers who will work towards achieving the goals and objectives of the Lubin School of Business Alumni Association ("Association"). Directors and officers of the Association are elected for a specified term. Appointment to the Nominations Committee is made by the Executive Board and is approved by the entire Board of the Lubin School of Business Alumni Association on an annual basis.

Special Events Committee – Christine A. Cirillo and Suvro Kumar Banerjee, Co-Chairs
This committee serves as a centralized support group to assist the school with its special events. In this role, the committee helps to ensure a presence of committee and Lubin Board members at University events, assists in instances where Lubin Alumni are needed as speakers for events and works with the Communications Committee to help contact alumni to support an event. The committee may also be called upon to help organize certain events with the University, the Lubin Board and/or its committees.

Student Relations Committee – William H. Kaung, Chair
This Committee works to enhance the goals and objectives of the Lubin Alumni Association by promoting interaction between Pace alumnus and its students. One important function of the Committee is to review applications and interview selected candidates for the Annual Lubin Alumni Association Award. The Award is given to exceptional students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement and commitment to the Pace motto, "Opportunitas."
