Join the Wilson Center for a Brown Bag Lunch Seminar featuring professor Mark Weinstock’s research on the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian.

Were you always fascinated by the movie Night at the Museum? Want to hear a discussion about one of the Smithsonian’s most popular museums over a nice packed lunch? Join the Helene and Grant Wilson Center for Social Entrepreneurship on Wednesday, March 29, at 12:10 p.m. for a Brown Bag Lunch Research Seminar featuring Dyson Professor and Wilson Faculty Fellow Mark Weinstock, PhD, in Lecture Hall West of One Pace Plaza.

Weinstock will present his funded research, “Analysis of Attendance Patterns at the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of the American Indian.” Professor Weinstock’s case study analyzes the key factors influencing a 35 percent decline in attendance at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian between 2013–2015. His research analyzes how the effect of trends including, tourism, traditional advertising, promotional strategies, and media efforts impact museum visitations over a nine-year period.
