Pilobolus Dance Theater’s Gaspard Lewis founded this captivating dance company, which will present an evening of five New York premieres that celebrate the human spirit’s ability to survive, regroup, reform, and remain. Gaspard’s choreography is noted for merging playful physicality with lyrical athletic partnering, ultimately creating memorable and vigorous works of art. Tickets
Carl Palmer’s ELP Legacy | Friday, October 6, at 7:30 p.m.
Over the course of his storied career, Carl Palmer helped define progressive rock as a member of a number of bands, most notably Emerson, Lake & Palmer. For a special night at the Schimmel, Palmer is back with a new band that is gaining widespread accolades all across the globe—channeling Palmer’s groundbreaking past performances to make a big time musical statement today. If These Walls Could Talk: Celebrating the Life and Times of the Bottom Line | Friday, October 13, and Saturday, October 14, at 7:30 p.m.
Host Paul Shaffer of The Late Show with David Letterman presents a multimedia celebration of the Bottom Line—a Greenwich Village music club that was a cultural touchstone of the music industry for several decades, placing host to legends such as Stevie Wonder, Mick Jagger, Carly Simon, and countless other entertainment icons. The multimedia celebration will feature music, memories, and storytelling from a select few artists who were Bottom Line regulars. Tickets
Uncle Bonsai with Lords of Liechtenstein | Wednesday, October 18, at 7:30 p.m.
This acoustic folk-pop trio, described as “if Tim Burton hijacked the Andrew’s Sisters en route to a Stephen Sondheim festival with the Beatles and Tom Lehrer in the sidecar,” will present a night of vocals, harmony, and performance at the Schimmel. Their songs tackle a wide variety of relevant themes, often with great and exciting insight. Tickets
American Dance Spectacular! | Saturday, October 21, at 7:30 p.m.
From the Charleston and Lindy hop to the jitterbug and the twist, American Dance Spectacular presents a night of popular American dance, from yesterday to today. The tribute to 20th century American dance will be led by six leading Broadway dancers, backed up by three Broadway vocalists and a live band. Tickets
Salon Songbook: The Gershwins and Friends | Friday, October 27, at 7:30 p.m.
The Schimmel will host the world premiere of Salon Songbook: The Gershwins and Friends, a celebration of one of songwriting’s most successful sibling partnerships. George and Ira Gershwin, musical luminaries, ultimately transformed music during the Jazz Age, and helped give rise to the evolution of Broadway and Hollywood musicals. Tickets
Disney’s Frozen Sing-Along | Saturday, October 28, at 3:00 p.m.

Tom Paxton, Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award winner and folk music icon, is turning 80! Celebrate in style with the singer songwriter, who began his career in basket houses of Greenwich Village, as he teams up with the DonJuans—Don Henry and Jon Vezner. Tickets
