A Day Tue Say Thanks
Pace University’s 2016 #GivingTuesday was an enormous success and we are truly grateful for everyone who participated to make it possible.
Thank you to all who participated by supporting Pace on #GivingTuesday! Now in its fifth year, #GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. Observed on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, this day of giving kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.
Pace University’s Office of Development and Alumni Relations surpassed their 2016 goal #GivingTuesday raising more than $126,000, a remarkable achievement that displays the immense strength and generosity of the Pace Community. With the support of more than 425 alumni, faculty, staff, students, parents, and friends, we set a new Pace record for #GivingTuesday!
For a second year, the Board of Trustees matched all gifts made as part of the Giving Tuesday efforts meaning more than $252,000 was raised in support of Pace students.
If you missed out on this year’s #GivingTuesday, please consider making a gift by Saturday, December 31. Every gift, no matter its size, makes a difference!
On #GivingTuesday, we also kicked off a round of crowdfunding initiatives. Now until December 31, the Pace Community can contribute to several meaningful areas in support of Pace students such as the Pace Cares Fund and the Pace Path.
Please visit our crowdfunding site at crowding.pace.edu to find out more and make a gift.
Hot off the presses, it’s another round of faculty media mentions! This month, they’re tackling the Russia investigation, sex trafficking legislation, and more.
