The Office of Multicultural Affairs at Pace has a packed lineup of events to help you relax and also discuss and collaborate on important topics together. From a trip to an International Center for Photography exhibit to an inspiring lecture from Cornel West, check out what they have in store for you this fall!

Knitting Circle Fridays

What better way to cozy up on a cool fall night than with a pair of comfy handmade socks? Grab your sock yarn, size 5 to 12 inch circular needle, size 5 double pointed needles, and stitch markers, and get ready to knit socks for you or a friend!

Uncover NYC Fridays

Get out and explore this incredible city with the Office of Multicultural Affairs! Take a tour of the Museum of the City of New York Exhibit: In the South Bronx of America on September 30, catch a film screening of Birth of A Nation on October 14, check out the International Center for Photography Exhibit: Public, Private, Secret on October 28, and get your bowl on at Bowlmor at Chelsea Piers on November 18.

Shades Collective and Urban Male Initiative Discussion Group Thursdays

Engage in meaningful dialogue with your peers with the Shades Collective and Urban Male Initiative, which aim to provide support, mentoring, and cultivate personal growth throughout the college experience.

Pilates Wednesdays

Grab your yoga mat and get ready to sculpt and tone your body in Pilates classes that emphasize stretching your muscles and building strength especially in the core.

Studying doesn’t have to be stressful! Come to Study Hall Wednesdays to catch a breather from the hustle and bustle while getting your work done.  

An Evening with Cornel West
Thursday, October 13
6:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m. | Schimmel Theater
Head to the Schimmel for an inspiring talk from Cornel West, a prominent professor, author, and activist. As part of the Pace Students in Action Lecture Series, West will discuss topics such as the future of race in America and student activism. Admission is free and the event is open to the public, but seating is on a first-come basis. Tickets are available now and can be reserved at www.pace.edu/tickets.
