From ugly sweater night to watching the ball drop (into the net) on New Year’s Eve, tis the season for Pace Basketball.
While the students are away, the Setters will play. Stop by the Goldstein Fitness Center this December and January for some seasonal hoops.
Ugly Sweater Night
Friday, December 18 | 7:00 p.m.
Your crime against fashion will land you in the Goldstein Fitness Center as the women take on Concordia. Admission is free with your ugly sweater.
First Responder’s Day
Sunday, December 20 | 1:30 p.m. men’s and 3:30 p.m. women’s
Lions and greyhounds and BBQ, oh my! Active and retired police, fire, EMS, and families earn free admission to see the men take on Molloy and the women host Assumption. Memphis Mae’s BBQ restaurant sponsors the event.
Ring in the New Year with Pace
Thursday, December 31 | 12:00 p.m.
Before the festivities, celebrate the end of 2015 with the women’s basketball team as they take on St. Thomas Aquinas. Children 12 and under get in free with adult admission. Twin Jewelers will sponsor the game with some giveaways TBA.
Wednesday, January 6 | 5:30 p.m. women’s and 7:30 p.m. men’s
Pace welcomes Bedford Road School (and the Saint Anselm Hawks) for group night. Children 12 and under are free and adults pay just $2.
Camp Reunion/Youth Day
Saturday, January 9 | 1:30 p.m. men’s and 3:30 p.m. women’s
A men’s and women’s doubleheader, plus giveaways including team photos, T-Bone sunglasses, and Pace drawstring bags, are sure to make for some happy campers on camp reunion and youth day. Former basketball campers and children under 12 get in free.
80s Night and Suits and Sneakers
Tuesday, January 26 | 5:30 p.m. women’s and 7:30 p.m. men’s
Tis some visitor tapping at our chamber door. Tis the Franklin Pierce Ravens stopping by Pace for a doubleheader and a double theme: 80s Night and Suits and Sneakers for the men’s team in support of Coaches vs. Cancer. Big hair and blue eyeliner are back as part of the totally awesome 80s night. That’s right, dress up like your favorite Golden Girl, rock the Flock of Seagulls or Miami Vice, or bust out the legwarmers and leotards we know you have in your closet a la Flashdance. Plus, a tubular giveaway which may or may not be Setters earbuds.
