PLV had its turn, but now it's NYC's time to shine. From crafting to brunching to schmoozefests to singing at Pace Idol, Rocky Horror Picture Show, and Kesha, Pace University is bringing you a host of Homecoming fun.
Homecoming in October is the highlight of the fall semester at Pace NYC! Students, get to mix and mingle with alumni all weekend and give your parents and families a glimpse at what life at Pace is all about. There’s something happening for everyone, but space is limited, so be sure to register soon! Plus, advanced pricing ends Saturday, October 15, so be sure to get your tickets at the early-bird price.

CRAFTing Pride at Pace | 12:00 p.m. | Student Union
Show your Pace Pride and create lasting memories at this arts and crafts-inspired event. Plus, contribute to a BIG piece of Pace art for future generations of students. No registration required; just show up.

Grab a group of friends to create a team for Homecoming 2016’s Glow in the dark dodgeball tourney! Do you have what it takes to duck and dodge your way to the top? Be sure to stretch beforehand and show up wearing as much Pace gear as you can! First come first play for team sign-ups. (The number of teams is limited.)

She's gonna hit this city! P.A.C.E. Board has done it again. This year’s Homecoming Concert will feature Kesha, whose Billboard chart topper "Tik Tok" kicked off a series of party anthems that would include "Die Young," "We R Who We R," "Your Love Is My Drug," "Blah Blah Blah," and more. Opening artists include Desiigner, the hip-hop artist behind "Panda" and Ansolo, a DJ more commonly known as Ansel Elgort, who starred in The Fault in Our Stars and the Divergent series. Doors open at 8:00 p.m. and close at 11:00 p.m.; no re-entry will be allowed after 11:00 p.m. Registration is required to attend. Tickets are $15 for Pace students and $25 for outside guests. InsideTrack returns with special guest and cybersecurity expert Joel F. Brenner. As the Inspector General for the National Security Agency from 2002 to 2006, Brenner was responsible for the NSA's top-secret internal audits and investigations. From 2006 until mid-2009, he was the head of US counterintelligence under the Director of National Intelligence and was responsible for integrating the counterintelligence activities of the 17 departments and agencies with intelligence authorities, including the FBI and CIA, and elements of the Departments of Defense, Energy, and Homeland Security.

Faculty and staff are invited to attend what’s become a Pace NYC tradition, the fourth annual Leaders and Legends Celebration! Represent your favorite student organizations, meet faculty advisers, reminisce with alumni, and network with the Pace Community at this annual gathering of student leaders and alumni and faculty legends. Your registration fee includes admittance to the cocktail reception—with passed hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine, and soft drinks—a themed menu, and a signature drink. Inside the Actors Studio taping | 7:00 p.m. | Schimmel Theater
Academy Award-winning actor Cuba Gooding Jr. will be James Lipton's next seminar guest on Inside the Actors Studio. Cuba Gooding Jr. is a critically-acclaimed actor whose breakout role as Tré Styles in the 1992 drama Boyz in the Hood elevated him to Hollywood stardom. He has since played leading or major roles in Outbreak, Jerry Maguire, As Good as It Gets, Radio, American Gangster, Lee Daniels’ The Butler, and Selma. Most recently, Gooding Jr. played O.J. Simpson in FX’s highly acclaimed drama, The People v. O.J. Simpson. In 1996, Gooding Jr. won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of professional athlete Rod Tidwell in Cameron Crowe’s Jerry Maguire. For more information, click here.

Start this event-filled Homecoming Saturday with a filling brunch alongside alumni, faculty, staff, students, and families. Your registration fee includes an array of delicious breakfast items, including bagels, biscuits, breakfast sandwiches, and sweets, along with coffee, tea and juice. Children of all ages are welcome!
Pace Idol | 1:00 p.m.–3:00 p.m. | Gym, C-level | $5 suggested donation
Students will showcase their singing skills at this reality show-style competition. Cheer on your favorite student singers and see how they fare with our panel of guest judges. We kindly ask for a donation in support of student activities instead of a registration fee. Your registration includes admittance to the competition and light refreshments. Gather in the Courtyard of One Pace Plaza for outdoor fun and festivities, including games, contests, entertainment, and more! Your registration fee includes admittance to the event, fun festival food, and two beverage tickets. Additional beverage tickets will be sold at registration. (Please note: IDs will be checked and you must be 21 or older to consume any alcoholic beverage. No outside beverages or food will be allowed.)

They say the neon lights are bright on Broadway, but the stars really shine on the stage. Experience the very best in New York entertainment at a special Pace discount as you enjoy the sound and wonder of Matilda (in its final season on Broadway!) or Kinky Boots. Limited tickets available for each show. Hurry, before tickets are sold out! Tickets are for the 8:00 p.m. performances of both shows, and seats are located in the rear mezzanine of each theater. The Fred Barton 14-piece orchestra and cast of Broadway singers and dancers are back to interpret the witty lyrics and complex musical styles of the Academy®, Tony®, Grammy Award®, and Pulitzer Prize winning composer and lyricist Frank Loesser. This renowned songwriter brought us the scores to the Broadway classics Guys and Dolls, The Most Happy Fella, and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. His contributions to the Great American Songbook include Luck be a Lady, Heart and Soul, I Believe in You, and Baby, It’s Cold Outside.
