It’s Showtime with EIR Robert E. Wankel
Broadway legend Robert E. Wankel is coming to Pace on October 31 for Lubin’s Executive in Residence program.
Robert E. Wankel is the president and co-chief executive officer of the Shubert Organization, which owns and operates 17 Broadway theatres, six off-Broadway venues, and has co-produced hundreds of plays and musicals—including CATS, Dreamgirls, School of Rock, and many more.
Wankel has risen through the ranks of the Shubert Organization over the span of his 41-year career, leading the way in areas such as financial operations, creative projects, commercial real estate, and ticketing services. He also is a member of the board of directors of the Shubert Foundation, which provides operating support to hundreds of not-for-profit theatre and dance companies throughout the United States. This year, the foundation grants totaled more than $25.6 million.
On Monday, October 31, from 2:00 p.m.–3:00 p.m., Wankel will deliver a lecture in the Schimmel as part of Lubin’s Executive in Residence (EIR) program, designed to make it possible for chairs, C-suite executives, presidents, and other top professionals to come to Pace to interact with students.
