Spring 2016 Job and Internship Fair

More than 100 companies, including KPMG, IBM, Apple, NYC Office of the Mayor, and ION Media will be on campus recruiting Pace students for internships and full-time positions after graduation. Dyson Day Conference 2016

A Night of Noise

National Day of Silence is going to end with some noise. Join the LGBTQA and Social Justice Center in the Courtyard at the unveiling of a campus-wide art installation on bullying, followed by the chance to break it. Then, proceed to the Bianco Room, where guest speakers and renowned activists CeCe McDonald and Joshua Allen will be share their experiences and efforts to bring unity and respect to the LGBTQ community. McDonald, a trans African American woman, survived a violent, racist, and transphobic attack, served time in a men’s prison in Minnesota, and is the focus of the documentary film FREE CeCe!, produced by Orange Is the New Black’s Laverne Cox. Hands on New York Day
8:30 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
Help make NYC cleaner and greener! Part of the city-wide New York Cares Day Spring, Hands on New York Day is full of exciting volunteer projects directed towards improving our community. Roll up your sleeves and join more than 85 Pace volunteers to garden, weed, paint, and more. By the end of the day, more than 70 parks, community gardens, and green spaces across the five boroughs will be spruced up and ready for the arrival of summer. Lunch will be provided. Spots are limited for this popular event, so sign up today.

An anime, comics, and gaming convention is coming to Pace and it’s run entirely by Pace students and alumni! Qirin Con is a free, one-day con that will feature interactive and discussion-based workshops on the art, craft, and enjoyment of anime and gaming culture, plus guest speakers on how to develop professional skills for anime- and gaming-related careers. Qirin Con will also include a gaming tournament, a cosplay contest, a small marketplace, and special entertainment provided by NY Jedi stage combat and the Triforce Quartet.
