Right To Love

News Story

Love is a human right. Celebrate diversity by joining the Queer Society for a trip to an inclusive film festival, and don’t forget to submit your audition tape for the 2018 Queer Gala!

Despite opposition, love has and will always be a human right. That's why the Queer Society is inviting the entire Pace Community—both LGBTQA students and allies—to come together for two upcoming inclusive celebrations!

LGBTQA Film Festival
Thursday, November 16 | 6:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m. | Meet in front of One Pace Plaza at 5:15 p.m.
To mark the 50th anniversary of the decriminalization of homosexuality in the UK, the British Council in New York will host a film screening of #FiveFilms4Freedom, the world’s first—and largest—digital LGBTQA film festival. Several notable speakers in the industry will also be sharing their experiences during a panel discussion. Check out the lineup and remember to register!

Queer Gala Auditions
After a wildly successful showcase last spring, the Queer Society will be hosting their second-ever Queer Gala—an opportunity to provide an inclusive, empowering, and celebratory space for all LGBTQA Pace students and their allies. If you’re a performer on either the PLV or NYC campuses and you’d like to be featured at this lavish event, please send your audition tape to pacequeersociety@gmail.com. Submissions are due by December 1. Keep your eye out for location and time details about this event!
