Inside the Actors Studio has announced its next taping at Pace's Schimmel Theater: Academy Award-winning actor Cuba Gooding Jr. will be the next seminar guest on Friday, October 28, at 7:00 p.m. That's right, James Lipton is sitting down with the star of The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story in less than two weeks!
Cuba Gooding Jr. is a critically-acclaimed actor whose breakout role as Tré Styles in the 1992 drama Boyz in the Hood elevated him to Hollywood stardom. He has since played leading or major roles in Outbreak, Jerry Maguire, As Good as It Gets, Radio, American Gangster, Lee Daniels’ The Butler, and Selma. Most recently, Gooding Jr. played O.J. Simpson in FX’s highly acclaimed drama, The People v. O.J. Simpson. In 1996, Gooding Jr. won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of professional athlete Rod Tidwell in Cameron Crowe’s Jerry Maguire.

Friends, family, etc. who are not part of the Pace Community should join the general standby line which forms outside of 3 Spruce Street. Again, admission is not guaranteed. Should tickets be available, it is ONE ticket per person.
All Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University students participate in the craft seminars known to the world as the Bravo Network television series Inside the Actors Studio, filmed at Pace University and hosted by James Lipton, dean emeritus and founder of the Actors Studio Drama School.
