Monday, November 7
6:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m. | One Pace Plaza, Bianco Room
Award-winning poets Thomas Devaney and David Trinidad will give the fall 2016 reading in the Poets@Pace series. The event, which is free and open to the public, will include a Q&A, book signing, and refreshments. For more information, click here.
Visual Inquiries: Artists Inspired by Science
Monday: 12:30 p.m.–4:30 p.m.; Tuesday: 12:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m. | Peter Fingesten Gallery, One Pace Plaza
Curated by Dyson Adjunct Professor Daniel Hill, this exciting exhibit features a plethora of mixed media that explores how we look at the world. The work is from 11 artists who maintain strong visual presence while being firmly rooted in the conceptual foundation of the sciences. Catch it November 7 and 8 before it closes!

Election Day Returns Party

The Designer Files: Asher Levine

Success is always in style, and Pace alumnus Asher Levine sure knows a thing or two about making it in the fashion world. Levine, who designs clothing and entertainment wear for celebs such as Taylor Swift, Demi Lovato, Beyonce, Will.i.am, and Lady Gaga, will be coming back to Pace to share his advice and secrets to success. Peer Advocates Against Sexual Assault (PAASA) Meet and Greet

It’s on us to stop sexual assault. Come meet the PAASA team, tour the office, and learn how you can get involved and make a difference, end gender based and interpersonal violence on campus, and promote a culture of respect. Free pizza will be served.

The Power of Poetry in a Complex World

In today’s complex world, poetry has the unique power to convey emotion and facilitate change. Enjoy an evening of powerful poetry and conversation with six preeminent poets, including Pace faculty. Friday, November 11
Veteran’s Day Parade
11:10 a.m.–1:10 p.m.
Stop by New York City’s Veteran’s Day Parade to support Pace’s Student Veteran Association (SVA) who will march through the streets in rain or shine. The parade is preceded by the traditional opening ceremony in Madison Square Park (24th Street and Fifth Avenue) at 10:00 a.m. and the parade starts at 11:15 a.m. The parade goes north on Fifth Avenue, from 26th to 52nd Street.
Caribbean Student Association Urban Nightz Fashion Show and After Party
8:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m. | Student Union
See some fierce fashion at the Caribbean Student Association (CSA) annual fashion show that has become a favorite among the Pace Community. The show’s theme is “Urban Nights” and will celebrate up-and-coming college fashion designers and provide a platform for their work to be seen. Enjoy a few live performances and free food! Stay around after the show for the Black Out after party. A Pace ID is needed for admission at entrance. Reserve a ticket today here!
Saturday, November 12
North Eastern Regional Networking Event (NERNE)
11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. | Bianco Room
Join Pace University Marketing Association as they welcome guest speakers, Yamaris Leon from BBDO, Alex Schell from Pentacle Dance Company, and Dinah Diaz from Ingredion FYI, who will share their career stories with students. Pumpkin Picking with Alpha Kappa Alpha
9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
Halloween is over, which means now is the perfect time to go pick pumpkins without the crowds! Join the sisters of Alpha Kappa Alpha to go pumpkin picking at Alstede farms in Lane Chester, New Jersey. Admission is $6.99 per person and tickets must be purchased here.
