Join community organizations in Westchester for a social forum on Sunday, April 22, to exchange ideas and information, foster solidarity, and celebrate our work to create a more just and equal society!

Join more than 40 local social justice organizations for the Westchester Social Justice Forum to exchange ideas and information, foster solidarity, and celebrate their work to create a more just and equal society. Pace law students, alumni, and professors will moderate and participate in several of the panels. Everyone is welcome!

Sunday, April 22, 2018
1:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m.
Ottinger Hall, Law School

The day will feature a march, an opening plenary, and the following panels:

  • >> Theatre of the Oppressed
  • >> Organizing Around Westchester’s Homelessness Crisis
  • >> Deportations: Community Defense with Hudson Valley Community Coalition and the Yonkers Sanctuary Movement
  • >> Fueling the Clean Energy Revolution
  • >> Prosecutorial Misconduct, Police Accountability, and the Militarization of Local Law Enforcement
  • >> Know Your Rights with Immigration
  • >> Sustainable Fashion
  • >> Runaway Inequality
  • >> Environmental Justice: Climate Change and the Impact on New York Communities of Color
