Letter from Ivan G. Seidenberg
This year also marks nearly a quarter of a century of leadership in computing and information technology education at the Ivan G. Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems. Since the School’s founding in 1983, it has risen to impressive heights of achievement by staying true to the idea of opportunity for all – as expressed in the motto, “opportunitas” – which is at the inspiring core of this University.
The faculty and staff of the Seidenberg School are deeply committed to educating the next generation of leaders in the field of information technology, in all its many disciplines. At a time when the opportunity within this dynamic field is growing, a degree from Pace University and the Seidenberg School will help you maximize your potential for success in whatever you decide to pursue.
As an alumnus myself, I know first-hand the foundation that my Pace University education afforded me, and I can assure you that the institution has even more to offer today. It truly is a unique and valuable education to have as you begin what will surely be interesting and engaging careers.
Looking ahead to your collegiate career and your bright future, I hope that you will give serious consideration to the Ivan G. Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems, and discover for yourself how engaging, challenging, and fun studying computing and information technology can be.
