Faculty and Student Research
push the boundaries of research
At the College of Health Professions, as either an undergraduate or a graduate student, you'll have opportunities to engage in your own independent research or faculty led research projects.
Be Part of Research That Matters
Nursing PhD student, Kisha Thompson, MS, CRNA, received a research grant from the Sigma Foundation for Nursing for her study "Reflection and Resilience Influences that Support Survival in Young Black Men."
Evaluating and addressing visual perceptual difficulties in children
Dr. Lee and co-researcher Dr. Zahn Zhang of the Seidenberg School are conducting a study to develop new mobile apps to evaluate and address visual perceptual difficulties in young children. The app will also benefit children and their families by promoting a child’s visual perceptual skills, which are important skills for reading, writing, and self-care.
