Take Courses Like…
Pathophysiology, where you will study the basic pathophysiologic understanding of diseases and the resulting clinical manifestations; Clinical Medicine, a three-semester sequenced course focusing on the study of disease; and Surgical and Technical Skills, that provides instruction in management of patients during the perioperative course.
Integrated system-based curriculum and innovative advanced degrees! The PA program offers an integrated curriculum that takes a holistic approach to healthcare. Preclinical training will expose you to multiple disciplines simultaneously, so your learning experience is analogous to the manner in which you will practice.

The Center for Excellence in Healthcare Simulation offers state-of-the-art resources and a variety of clinical focused learning opportunities ranging from fundamental skills to high-fidelity simulation. Students have the opportunity to publish clinical review articles with faculty and may have the opportunity to study abroad at selected medical sites.

Physician Assistant Fellowships
Advance Clinical Provider Fellowships are sponsored by Northwell Health and aim to identify upcoming leaders who will carry the health care system’s vision and mission forward for future generations. Fellowships are a way to help PAs transition to clinical practice. PA fellowships are not required to practice clinically, and admission to these programs is at the sole discretion of Northwell Health.
