Guide to Applying for Summer Financial Aid at Pace University
In general, financial aid for the Summer sessions is based on a student's eligibility for the previous year. Therefore, students interested in receiving financial aid for Summer 2014 must have filed the 2013-2014 FAFSA form. If you have not completed the FAFSA form, you can file it online at the FAFSA web site. Please note that the estimated time frame for processing of paper applications is approximately 4-5 weeks whereas online applications only take about 2-3 weeks.
Pace University FAFSSA school codes are:
New York City: 002791
Westchester (Pleasantville): 002792
White Plains: 002727
Students interested in aid for the summer must also file the Pace University's Application for Summer Federal Financial Aid (available on the Financial Aid web site under the forms section). We advise you to submit all required documents, and register before April 8, 2014 to guarantee financial aid availability for the payment dates. Students must be enrolled in at least six (6) credits in order to receive financial aid.
Please note that the utilization of student loan borrowing and any other federal financial aid for the summer may affect your federal financial aid during the following academic year. Please visit the financial aid office to discuss strategies for stretching your federal financial aid across summer, fall, and spring semesters.
Students may be eligible for Federal Pell Grants, Federal Direct Loans, and NYS TAP during the summer sessions. University scholarships, grants and awards are not available for summer sessions.
