Get a Worldly Degree

With a BBA in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Pace’s Lubin School of Business, you really can go anywhere—a five-star Manhattan restaurant, an elite hotel in Hong Kong, or a sustainable tourism site in Brazil. Launch an exciting and fulfilling career with opportunities to work in destinations around the world, manage prestigious venues in New York, or start your own business.

Go for a Rewarding Career

  • Lubin's Hospitality and Tourism Management program is the only AACSB-accredited program in the New York City area.
  • We offer a focus on management, unlike other programs that emphasize technical skills.
  • Prepare to rise to leadership positions in tourism, hotel and restaurant management, and event planning and management.

Add Opportunities and Experiences

Lubin's Hospitality and Tourism Management program prepares you to analyze and respond to factors shaping the industry: sustainable business goals, environmental considerations, and social, cultural, and economic issues. Our program’s strong business core will give you skills in financial reporting, operations planning, staff scheduling, organizational development, and policy development.

You’ll gain knowledge of safety and security in the hospitality industry. From certification in ServeSafe (food safety) to security planning and crisis management, you will acquire the skills to succeed in increasingly responsible management roles. Learn how government policy shapes travel, how the industries of tourism interact, how destinations are created and promoted, and the dominant trends in international and regional travel and tourism.

At Pace, you will also find opportunities to study abroad and get a better understanding of this global industry. Learn about sustainable tourism in destinations like the Atlantic Rainforest of Brazil and small villages in Italy, or see what business travelers experience in Hong Kong and London.

You will be able to start building your resume right on campus by joining the Hospitality and Tourism Association, a student organization that hosts weekly meetings, including employer spotlights, industry panels, travel tips sessions, and workshops.

I tell people that I lived in Italy for seven months and they’re amazed that I was still in college. I feel that Pace is a school that prepares its students. I’m really glad I took advantage of all the opportunities it afforded me.
