Message from the Dean
Welcome to the College of Health Professions!
There has never been a better time than now to make an investment in a healthcare career, and we are so pleased to be your partner in the educational path toward a fulfilling and successful career in healthcare!
Our motto, Opportunitas, is a genuine and relevant reflection of the myriad opportunities the healthcare field offers. According to the Department of Labor, healthcare occupations will add approximately 2.4 million new jobs by the year 2026. To provide you with the tools you will need to be successful, we offer a supportive learning community, comprehensive, interdisciplinary programs, technology-rich classrooms and clinical spaces, and a distinguished faculty of clinicians, scholars, researchers and educators. As a result, our graduates leave us wholly prepared for the challenges of an ever-changing, always-advancing healthcare landscape.
In the workforce, CHP graduates are highly regarded professionals who have a tremendously positive impact on the quality of healthcare, serving diverse patient populations in the local community, across the nation, and around the world.
We continually take pride in the academic accomplishments of our students. This past year, our Lenox Hill Hospital PA students had a 99% first-time pass rate on the PANCE exam, and our Nursing students earned a 97.7% on the NCLEX-RN, significantly higher than the 84% New York State average. Post-graduation, our overall employment rates are impressive, as well, with 98% of our masters graduates and 87% of our bachelors graduates working in their chosen fields.
There is always much to celebrate about a College of Health Professions education at Pace University. I hope you will share in my excitement and take advantage of the many educational, service and social opportunities available here as we grow and expand our College to meet the healthcare needs of our global population. Please take some time to explore our website to learn more about our programs. While there, be sure to view the many videos showcasing our students, faculty and programs.
