Global Asia Institute

The Global Asia Institute is an integral part of the liberal and professional education at Pace University in New York. It builds on the University’s ongoing successful efforts to advance teaching, scholarly research, student interest and engagement, and community outreach activities on global Asia, and to connect the expertise of Pace’s Asia specialists with arts, government, business and community organizations in New York City.

Under the Dyson College of Arts and Sciences, the Global Asia Institute supports a wide range of credit-bearing courses in the humanities and social sciences, as well as in Asian languages. It also promotes and coordinates campus events related to East, South, Southeast, and Inner Asia across the university.

In order to strengthen the breadth and depth of Asian studies at Pace, the Institute continuously seeks grant support for instructional, research and student travel purposes. It sponsors research seminars, and a variety of outreach activities not only within Dyson College but also within Pace’s other professional schools.
