Welcome to the Mathematics Department on Pace University’s New York City Campus. We provide a wide spectrum of mathematics and statistics courses, which incorporate a carefully designed mix of applied and theoretical components. Many of the courses are part of the University core curriculum, fulfilling degree requirements for various majors. A common educational objective is to demonstrate the power and beauty of mathematics and provide our students with the logical reasoning, quantitative, and analytical thinking skills necessary to compete in today's complex global environment. We constantly strive to improve the knowledge acquisition of our students through continual refinement of the instructional process.
We offer the following bachelor degree programs: Mathematics (B.A.), Mathematics (B.S.), as well as a Management Science Major/Math Minor, a general Mathematics Minor, and a Statistics Minor. Moreover we have mathematics concentration programs for education majors, actuarial studies, and for those wishing to continue their education at the graduate level. These programs, while structured, are often crafted to suit the individual needs of the student.
Members of our faculty are nurturing teachers and advisors as well as productive scholars and research mathematicians.
