Early Environmental Law Scholars Meeting

<p>Early Environmental Law Scholars (EELS) seeks to foster community building, idea exchange, and professional development for emerging scholars in the field.</p> <p>The inaugural edition of the EELS conference will be held at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University in White Plains, NY on September 7, 2024. We will kick-off the conference the evening before (September 6) with a happy hour/reception.</p> <p>The event is open to junior academics, i.e. those with less than 7 years on the tenure-track and fellows/Visiting Assistant Professor (VAPs) teaching at U.S law schools.</p> <p>The morning sessions will provide participants with an opportunity to discuss their scholarship, teaching, and other topics relevant to early career academics. The second half of the conference will consist of a half day-trip to Storm King Mountain, where participants will be able to do a short hike and get to know each other better. The full schedule will be emailed to registered participants.</p> <p>We are also inviting folks to join the Annual Future Environmental Law Professors Workshop on Friday, September 6, 2024, which will be held in-person the day before.
