Protesting 101

What should you expect when attending a protest? How can you prepare to safely and meaningfully participate in actions? Join us to learn the basics of attending a protest – including knowing your rights, who to go with, and what to bring. The conversation will be facilitated by a longtime local activist active in movements to protect democracy and push for disarmament. Sponsored by the Center for Community Action and Research, Peace and Justice Studies Department, Office of Multicultural Affairs, and LGBTQA Center.
