About Daniel Lubetzky

Best known as the founder of KIND Snacks, Daniel Lubetzky is a social entrepreneur dedicated to building bridges to help prevent the kind of division that led to his father’s suffering as a Holocaust survivor. His foray into the food industry stemmed from his efforts to use business as a tool to bring neighbors in conflict-ridden Middle Eastern regions together.
Daniel is the founder of Builders, a global initiative aimed at replacing “us vs. them” division with a movement of flexible thinkers and constructive problem-solvers. He is the newest Shark on ABC’s Shark Tank and the author of the New York Times bestseller Do the KIND Thing.
Among his many accolades, Daniel has received The King Center’s Beloved Community Award, the Ellis Island Medal of Honor, and the Muhammad Ali Humanitarian Award for Civility and Compassion. He holds a BA in Economics and International Relations from Trinity University and a JD from Stanford Law School. A proud US citizen, he emigrated from Mexico at age sixteen. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and practicing magic.
