Returning Student Checklist
Step 1
Apply for Financial Aid
Starting: October 1st | Priority FAFSA Submission Deadline: November 15th
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or using the myStudentAid Mobile app.
- Pace University’s FAFSA school codes (please only use one):

002792 – Pleasantville Campus - FAFSA Help

- After your FAFSA is completed and submitted, you will receive and review your Electronic Student Aid Report (eSAR) from the Federal Processor.
Step 2
Check your email regularly and look for requirements on your MyPace Portal
- Log in to your MyPace Portal to ensure your FAFSA was received and review any outstanding requirements.
- Select "Student" Tab
- Select "Financial Aid"
- Select "Financial Aid System"
- Select "Financial Aid Status"
- Select the correct Award Year.
- Click the link for "Unsatisfied Student Requirements" to review your missing information.
Step 3
Receive Your Financial Aid Package
Starting: May
- As a returning student at Pace University you will be emailed your Aid Letter notification and link to our Financial Aid Booklet once you are packaged with aid.
Step 4
Review and Accept your Aid Offers
- Visit our How to Apply page for step-by-step instructions how to accept your aid offers and complete requirements.
Step 5
Satisfactory Academic Progress
Reviewed: June
- The Federal Government requires students maintain a specific level of academic progress (QPA and course completion rate) to retain financial aid eligibility.
- If you are not making Satisfactory Academic Progress after the Spring semester you are at risk of losing your Federal, State & Institutional aid.
- If you are at risk of not making Satisfactory Academic Progress after Spring, you may want to consider enrolling in Summer courses at Pace.
Step 6
Submit All Required Documentation
- Submit all required documentation as soon as possible to ensure your aid is reflected on your bill by the bill due date and avoid late fees!
- Our paperless forms can be found linked to your MyPace Portal requirements and on the Forms and Applications page of our website.
- All additional required documentation may be submitted securely via our Document Submission Form.
