Justin Ritchie is an Academic Advisor for the Pforzheimer Honors College at the NYC Campus. After graduating George Washington University with a degree in English and Creative Writing, Justin pursued his passion for writing and education by becoming an ELA middle school teacher in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn. He received a Master of Science in Childhood Education (Students with Disabilities) from Touro University and continued teaching for over five years. His desire to become an academic advisor stemmed from the belief that we benefit ourselves and others most when our passions and strengths align, and he is committed to helping others find themselves and their place in the world.
