Honors Ambassador Program

Starting summer 2019 we will be launching a new way to earn an Honors credit and to represent the Honors College. We will be starting an Honors Ambassador Program. Students can earn points by completing service to the Honors College. Once a student earns 100 points they will officially be an Honors Ambassador for a year and will earn one Honors credit. To stay on as an Honors Ambassador after the first year the student will need to earn an additional 50 points each year. No additional Honors credit will be earned after the first 100 points. Honors Ambassadors will help represent the Honors College at various events and will serve as role models. The point collection will begin this summer with the next set of mentors.

Evaluation

At the end of each semester you will need to submit a form to the Honors College detailing what you have done. The Honors College will sign off on the points. It is up to the student to submit the points. The points will not expire, so you do not have to earn the 100 points in one year. Once students have hit the 100 point, 150 point, and 200 point amounts aka one year, two year, and three year ambassador eligibility, the Honors College will email those students to have them come in and sign the ambassaor agreement form.
