2019 Student-Faculty Research Days
The 2018–2019 Student-Faculty Research Days showcased some of Pace's brightest minds. The event continues to embody Pace's mission of Opportunitas, as exemplified through the accompanying photo album.
The 2018–2019 Student-Faculty Research Days were a resounding success. The College of Health Professions, Dyson College and Arts and Sciences, Lubin School of Business, Seidenberg School of CSIS, and the School of Education were all represented with researchers and faculty investigating topics ranging from aromatherapy to messaging in film. Across our two campuses, the event brought together a total of 218 presenters working on 140 different projects, with 36 different departments/centers being represented.
An important component of the Pace Path, the Provost’s Student-Faculty Undergraduate Research program provides students a unique opportunity to work with a professor on a specific project of mutual interest. Student often indicate that getting involved with research can be among the most impactful component of their undergraduate experience. Given the rare opportunity to collaborate directly with a professor, this type of student research involvement is not as common at other Universities, and is something that both Pace faculty and staff have been able to benefit immensely from.
Below, enjoy some photos from events on both campuses:
