30th Annual Komen Race for the Cure
This year, the Komen community will race together, apart. Join your fellow Pace Community members in the fight against breast cancer at the 30th annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, which will be held on September 12–13 as a live-streaming event.
For thirty years, the Komen community has raced together to end breast cancer. On Saturday, September 12, and Sunday, September 13, we will race together, apart. No one deserves to die from breast cancer, and despite this year’s unique circumstances, the 2020 Komen Race for the Cure is not cancelled. For the last 29 years, Pace University has had the largest College/University Team and this year, we want to make it 30—Join the Pace team today!
This year's fast-paced, multi-location 30 hour virtual event will highlight everything that makes race day so special, even as we find ourselves together apart. Featured live events will include opening and closing ceremonies, a Kids for the Cure celebration, sponsored start and finish lines with photos, as well as live and pre-recorded celebrity videos.
The Journey to 30
Our vibrant, multi-layered, 30 day fundraising challenge is designed to inspire and connect members across the Komen community. The Journey to 30 serves as the shared community experience for our 30th Annual Race for the Cure; bringing us together for common cause, much as the same as walking the course has done for three decades. Whether participants choose to focus on fitness, cooking, or just dedicate the day to activities, you will find opportunities to engage and share your commitment to the cause. This is sure to be a vibrant, multi-dimensional program with new sponsor opportunites throughout the entire 30 days of programming.
Here’s your shot to help keep Pace safe. The health and safety of the Pace Community is our top priority, and getting vaccinated against COVID-19 is a key part. Check back frequently as we announce vaccine availability for our community.
