Celebrating Seniors with Pace Athletics

News Story

Pace Athletics celebrated Senior Day by honoring their stellar lineup of student-athletes who will be graduating May 2020. Hear from the coaches of the baseball, softball, and men’s and women’s lacrosse teams!

Baseball

Head Coach Hank Manning said the graduating student-athlete baseball players “stepped up,” “brought a confident, winning attitude,” and were “extremely effective for us in tough situations.” Read more about each individual player and help us celebrate them during this extraordinary time.


Men’s Lacrosse

Head Coach Tom Mariano called the graduating student-athletes on the men’s lacrosse team, “Tremendous teammates [who are] always looking to improve,” in addition to their many individual and unique skills that they bring both on and off the field. Softball

“We are very proud of the accomplishments of our seniors both on and off the field,” Head Coach Claudia Stabile said of her team. “They have truly impacted our program by their quality play, competitiveness, and commitment to excellence. Their academic performance and support of numerous community outreach programs has been exemplary. We have seen them mature and develop into strong young women and are confident they will excel in the next chapter of their life. We are honored they are part of the Pace family.”

Stabile went on to share a number of special messages to each graduating student-athlete on the softball team:


Women’s Lacrosse

“The 2020 class has left an undeniable legacy on our program. They are true ambassadors of Pace Women's Lacrosse and have elevated our program in their relentless pursuit of success,” Head Coach Tricia Molfetta said. “All four of them, with their different personalities and leadership qualities, have left an indelible impact on their teammates and our staff. When they come back in the future to Pace Stadium, they will see parts of themselves woven into our program. I know each of them will be successful in their endeavors and we wish them the best of luck. Lauren, MK, Alexa, and Johnna: thank you!”
