Information on Compensation for Assisting at Commencement

Please do not edit the hours you work for Commencement in Kronos. Kronos should reflect your normal work day hours for that day.

Full-time employees who are eligible for overtime will receive payment for any additional hours worked beyond the usual weekly work schedule in their June 15, 2019 payroll check. These additional hours will be submitted by University Special Events, and will be paid at applicable overtime rates in their June 15, 2019 payroll check if hours worked in that week (May 20–24, 2018) exceeds 35.

Part-Time Employees and Student Workers will have their total number of hours worked submitted by University Special Events, and will be paid at the applicable rate in their June 15, 2019 payroll check.

If you are a full-time employee and assist at more than one Commencement ceremony, you are entitled to take one-half flex day (with supervisor’s approval) on or before Friday, May 31, 2019.
