The LGBTQA+ and Social Justice Center is back in action with weekly discussion groups, workshops, events, and more. Brighten up your spring semester and join them as they continue to facilitate safe spaces on the NYC Campus.

Group Discussions

Out to Lunch
Every Monday | 12:10 p.m.–1:10 p.m. | 41 Park Row, Room 903
This free lunch discussion group is open to all LGBTQA+ students in the Pace Community. Join them to share your own experiences and meet other cool people at the Center.

Multiple topics will be discussed! In February, they will be hosting a talk with Active Minds about burnout and self-care. In March, there will be a panel on navigating multiple identities. And in April, there will be a conversation about faith, spirituality, and LGBTQA+ identities led by Assistant Dean Todd Smith-Bergollo.

T-Time

Trans and gender non-conforming students are invited to attend this weekly discussion group! It’s also open to allies the first Wednesday of every month, starting Wednesday, March 4.

QTPOC Corner
Every Thursday | 3:30 p.m.–4:30 p.m. | 41 Park Row, Room 903
This is the place where queer and trans people of color at Pace congregate for in-depth discussions and, especially, empowerment. Come join their afternoon discussion!

Healing Friday

Event Initiatives

Let’s Talk About It: Mental Health in the LGBTQA+ Community
Tuesday, February 18 | 3:25 p.m.–4:25 p.m. | One Pace Plaza, Room W513
Challenge stigmas and learn more when the Center, co-hosted by Active Minds, hosts an important discussion about mental health in their community.

Free HIV/STI Testing
Thursday, February 27 | 12:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m. | 41 Park Row, Room 902 and 903
In collaboration with Mount Sinai, the LGBTQA+ Center and the Office of Sexual and Interpersonal Wellness will be offering free testing for HIV and STIs.

Swap Not Shop
Friday, March 6 | 1:00 p.m.–3:00 p.m. | 41 Park Row, Dezer Den
Bring an item or two and leave with something new! This is a very popular clothing exchange on campus. You never know what you might find.

This workshop, which is also open to all Pace students, faculty, and staff, provides information specifically about transgender identities, issues, and supportive practices.
