Cybersecurity Health Care Conference (NYC)

News Story

Hear from high-profile cybersecurity experts on Thursday, October 3, at Seidenberg’s Third Annual Pace Cybersecurity Conference. The panel discussion will examine the biggest threats facing the health care industry today, as well as cutting-edge solutions.

Seidenberg’s Third Annual Pace Cybersecurity Conference will convene leaders and professionals from business, government, and academia to address the economics of cybersecurity in health care. On average, health care organizations spend on average of $1.4 million to recover from cyber-related attacks. The field is a top target for ransomware, and in 2018, health care was the second-most attacked industry, after the government sector.

This year’s event promises to include fascinating insights from top cybersecurity names on the biggest threats facing health care security and viable solutions to address these threats. Your participation will broaden interdisciplinary discourse, discovery, and engagement in the field:

Thursday, October 3
8:30 a.m.–2:15 p.m.
Willcox Hall
PLV Campus

Also in attendance this year is world-famous cyberdog (she's trained to sniff out cybercrime!), Harley. Stop by as she takes center stage for a K9 demonstration with the Westchester County Police Department.

This is a free event where you will be able to expand your network, participate in a cybersecurity experiment, and grow your awareness of the very real threats facing the health care industry today. Check out the schedule for this conference and register to attend.
