Lubin Dean Neil Braun was selected as on of The Responsible 100, representing New York’s 100 most outstanding corporate citizens, all of whom were honored at a special luncheon at Hunter College on December 15.
Dyson Professor Sarah Blackwood, PhD, interviewed Pace alumnus Yahdon Israel for the Los Angeles Review of Books about #literaryswag, an online movement centered at the intersection of fashion and literature.
Jonne Ronquillo, JD, has been selected by the Provost’s Office for the position of Administrative Director for Academic Programs and Faculty Affairs, effective December 1.
CHP Professor Winifred C. Connerton, PhD, CNM, has been named the 2016–2018 Barbara Brodie Nursing History Fellow in recognition of her work, “Nursing Dreams of Empire; U.S. Nurses in the American Occupied Territories."
SOE Professor Gerald Ardito, DPS, is on the National Technology Leadership Initiative (NTLI) Award’s final selection list for his recent paper “Building Student Networks: Towards a Connectivist Analysis of Classroom Learning Environments.”
Seidenberg Professor and Director of Cybersecurity Darren Hayes, DPS, wrote an article in Homeland Security Today titled “New Legislation Needed to Address Terrorists’ Use of Phone Encryption.”
Law School Professor Michael Mushlin, JD, was quoted in a Times Union article about the lack of oversight for the state’s prison system.
Pace President Stephen J. Friedman wrote an article for the 2015 Financial Executive Magazine on how financial executives can develop encore careers.

SOE Acting Dean and Professor Xiao-lei Wang, PhD, published a new book titled Maintaining Three Languages: The Teenage Years.
Dyson Professor Jason Whitesel, PhD, was invited this fall to blog for the ASA’s section on body and embodiment.
SOE Professor Joan Walker, PhD, will take a one year leave to accept the Intergovernmental Personnel Act (IPA) Assignment at the National Science Foundation (NSF) in Washington, DC, where she will act as a program director for the Education and Human Resources Directorate.
Dyson Professor Mark Hussey, PhD, had his work featured in a recent PBS broadcast regarding Virginia Woolf, and spoke about starting the Woolf International Conference at Pace over two decades ago.
Dyson Professor Nigel Yarlett, PhD, has been appointed a Pace Distinguished Professor—an esteemed honor that was awarded by a specialized committee, and was supported by endorsements from President Friedman and Provost Sukhatme.
