Best Practices for Supporting Trans, Queer, and Gender Nonconforming Students in the Classroom and Beyond
Presenters: Rachel Simon, Interim Director for the Office of Multicultural Affairs and LGBTQQ Coordinator, Pleasantville Campus; and Emmett Griffith, Associate Director of the LGBTQA+ and Social Justice Center, NYC Campus
This workshop discusses best practices to create positive learning environments for transgender, gender non-conforming, and non-binary students in your classroom and to gain insight on inclusive practices to support all gender identities.

Registration for the Spring 2020 14-Day Writing Challenge
The 14-Day Writing Challenge is an opportunity for you to experiment with daily writing, an online community, and supportive accountability. The challenge entails:
- >> You commit to write every day for at least 30 minutes.
- >> At the beginning of your writing time, you login to our online community, start the timer, complete your writing, and post your progress at the end.
- >> You take five minutes to support other writers in your group by commenting on their progress.
This workshop will run from March 23 through April 5, 2020. The deadline to register is March 19, 2020.
