It’s time to hit the books! Check out the following extended hours for the Mortola and Birnbaum Library, and make some time to relieve your stress with Midnight Breakfast, a comedy show, and therapy doggos—all leading up to finals. You got this, #PaceU!

PLV Campus

Resources

>> Counseling Center: If you feel like you need support, don’t hesitate to reach out to the Counseling Center at any time. There are also a number of group therapy opportunities on the PLV Campus. No one is ever alone. We’re here for you!

>> Library Extended Hours: From Monday, April 29, through Thursday, May 16, the Mortola Library will be open 24 hours, seven days a week. Time to hit the books!

>> Pace Mart Extended Hours: Stock up on all your late-night snacks through Wednesday, May 15! Pace Mart will be open Monday–Thursday from 10:00 a.m.–12:00 a.m., Fridays from 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., and Sundays from 12:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m. (Closed on Saturdays.) “Midnight Madness” also starts at—you guessed it—midnight! Stop by for a free coffee.

>> Tutoring Services: The Learning Center is here for you! Whether you’re looking for help in French, calculus, biology, or a variety of other classes, make an appointment for tutoring on the PLV Campus

>> Writing Center Hours: Get support on all those papers you’re writing! Check out the Writing Center schedule on the PLV Campus and be sure to sign up for a session.

Toast Day

Toast to the end of the spring semester—with toast! This annual tradition is hosted by the Mortola Library where you’ll get to choose from all kinds of spreads; jam, peanut butter, marshmallow fluff, and so much more.

Therapy Dogs
11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. | Mortola Library, Birnbaum Room
1:00 p.m.–3:00 p.m. | Kessel Student Center, Dean’s Lounge

Studying for finals is ruff. So why don’t you paws for a few minutes and let us refur you to our favorite dogtors. That’s right: the pups from the Good Dog Foundation are back, and they’re cuddlier than ever.

Midnight Breakfast and Book Award
10:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m. | Kessel Dining Room
Join your fellow Setters for one of Pace’s tastiest traditions: the end-of-semester midnight breakfast. Scarf down some pancakes before that late-night study session as you head into finals.

The winners of the Student Government Book Award will also be announced at this event. These awards provide for the Student Government Association to reward students who are passionate about serving the community, whether within an organization or an independent act. The four awards will total to $500, to be used at Barnes & Noble. The deadline to apply for this award is Friday, May 3.

Bring your crew for a fun evening of friendly competition! The Mortola Library is hosting another rousing Game Night, and you’re invited to test your skills—and have a good time.

Active Minds has partnered with New York Therapy Animals to bring you a few precious pups. Stop by with your friends and enjoy some quality time with a dog or two before getting your study on.

Setter’s Rest Stop: Midnight Breakfast

There’s nothing like breakfast for dinner! Join your classmates for this Setter tradition. Whether you’re an eggs and bacon type or pancakes lathered in syrup fan, finals never tasted so good.

Sip and Paint 
3:25 p.m.–4:25 p.m. | Birnbaum Library
Supplies, food, and drink will be provided by Active Minds as you convert all of that energy studying for finals into creative self-care. Enjoy this afternoon of relaxation with your fellow Setters!

Variety Show
6:30 p.m.–10:00 p.m. | Bianco Room
It’s time for the big event: Pace Comedy Live’s final show of the year! Don’t miss out when they dish out the jokes, folks. Laughing is a great way to shake off stress.

Setter’s Rest Stop: Life’s a Beach
12:00 p.m.–2:00 p.m. | Student Center East
Enjoy mocktails while discussing stress management tips and tricks with experts from the Counseling Center. They’re here to guide you as you navigate the very real difficulties that can surface during finals time.

Setter’s Rest Stop: Do It Yourself
3:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m. | 41 Park Row, 8th Floor, SDACA Lounge
Spruce up your space with air plants and meme pillows! DIY projects can be a great way to unwind after a long week of cramming, so take some time out with your fellow Setters.

Setter’s Rest Stop: Movie Night

Starring Haley Lu Richardson and Cole Sprouse, Five Feet Apart tells the story of budding love between two teenagers who have cystic fibrosis. Join SDACA for a free screening!

Setter’s Rest Stop: Stuff a Plush

This wildly popular event lets you build your own buddy for free! Pick the animal that best reflects your personality and start stuffing, Setters. They’ll make a wonderful keepsake, not to mention a fun prize for making it through finals.
