Get paid to work with the Associated Press during the 2020 US Primary and General Elections! Training begins Thursday, February 27, so punch that ticket and cast your name into the fray.

The Associated Press (AP) is currently hiring voter entry workers for two positions located on the NYC Campus. All Pace students are welcomed to apply! The pay rate is $15 per hour for both positions, which includes training. You must be available for the training dates (starting Thursday, February 27) as well as the scheduled work days (which begin in March).

1. Event Tabulation

Student workers will assist the AP in tabulating election results. Workers will receive incoming calls from stringers across the nation and accurately input information into a customized database. Students may also confirm information and data from county and state websites. Must have good interpersonal skills and attention to detail.

2. Verification Workers

Verify the results the day after the election. Students will assist with ensuring the accuracy of the information from election night. This role will answer and place calls to county clerk offices across the nation and accurately input and update information into a customized database. The position also requires using various computer-based verification sources to confirm data from county and state websites. Students applying must have interpersonal skills, be comfortable speaking on the phone, and have attention to detail.
