Keeping Pace: Fall Fitness Events

Get into downward-facing dog with us as we tackle fall semester stress! There’s also a dance cardio class, combat fitness with veterans, martial arts session, and more. Let’s close out 2019 with a little stress-relieving fitness.
NYC Campus
Yoga with Shannon
Tuesday, September 24 | 3:25–4:25 p.m. | Bianco Room
Join Active Minds, an organization working to change the conversation about mental health, for a stress-relieving hour of yoga with their favorite instructor Shannon Haick.
Dance Cardio Class
Thursday, September 26 | 3:30 p.m.–4:30 p.m. | Student Center
Kick up your heels and boogie down at this cardio dance party. What better way to exercise than through dance? Bring your best moves and meet us for this exciting event.
Bubble Soccer
Monday, September 30 | 6:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m. | Gym
You can have fun and work on your fitness all at the same time. Challenge your friends and bump around with some bubble soccer!
Martial Arts Meeting
Wednesday, October 2 | 1:30 p.m.–2:30 p.m. | Gym
Join the Martial Arts club for basic demonstrations on wraps, gloves, and stances. Anyone is welcome to join—from amateurs to professionals.

Join the brothers of Alpha Phi Delta outside for a lesson in combat fitness courtesy of our veterans.
Dance Class

The Hip Hop Dance Club invites you to hit the dance floor and pick up their moves. It’s an effective way to feel great and stay fit—not to mention it’s fun as heck.
P4K Dance Marathon
Saturday, November 16 | 4:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m. | Campus-wide
In its seventh year, P4K is one of the most successful and philanthropic events held on the PLV Campus. Completely student-run and organized, P4K raises funds that directly support the local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Dance the night away for a good cause!
