Laying Down the Law
Is the law calling your name? Law Day on October 7 will set the record straight on all your law school questions.
We’d be remiss if we failed to mention that the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University was one of the first law schools to combine classroom learning and legal theory with clinics, internships, and other skill-building experiences. Or that, most recently, they created a capstone program where students spend their final semester in supervised practice. Or even that the Law School’s environmental law program is ranked third in the nation by U.S. News & World Report, and with a variety of other programs, Pace is the place to turn your passion into practice.
That said, Pace Law will be co-sponsoring the LatinoJustice PRLDEF Law Day on Saturday, October 7, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Schimmel Center on the NYC Campus.
Pre-law students will hear from expert panelists about what they can expect from the law school admissions process and about the pre-law services they can access. Panelists will highlight the myriad of careers that are attainable with a law degree, and later in the program, current law students will lead an interactive “Ask a Law Student” Q&A session during which attendees will learn about the practical expectations of attending law school.
This event is free and open to the public. Learn more and register today!
This month, Pace faculty are keeping up with the torrent pace (no pun intended) of technological innovation—and are earning some recognition along the way!
