Meet Michael Simon, the co-founder and CEO of Elucd, a public impact technology company based in NYC. Previously, he established and managed the first-of-its-kind in-house analytics department for Barack Obama’s groundbreaking campaign for President, served in the Obama Administration, and served as a data science consultant to Fortune 500 executives and global political leaders.
Simon is a regular commentator on data, technology, and politics. He has been featured in media including The New York Times, USA Today, Wired, CNBC, PBS NewsHour, the Wall Street Journal, Buzzfeed, Mashable, Slate, and the Cook Political Report, and has been a guest speaker at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government and the World Economic Forum of Young Global Leaders. Simon received his law degree and a BA in Political Science from the University of Michigan.

Meet Bill Nelson ’75, the former chairman and CEO of Home Box Office, Inc. (HBO), the world’s most successful premium television company. Nelson holds a BBA in Accounting and Finance and an MBA from Pace. Nelson joined HBO in May 1984 as vice president and assistant controller, and by July 2002, he was CEO, responsible for overseeing HBO’s divisions of home video and international ops, film licensing, finance, IT, marketing, affiliate relations, legal, human resources, and facilities.
Nelson is also Vietnam combat veteran, having served with the US Army’s 2/502nd “Strike Force” Infantry Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division. Nelson actively supports efforts to help our veterans and their families in need through his participation in veteran-focused charities such as Hope for the Warriors and United War Veterans Council NYC, to name a few. In 2104, he was inducted into the New York State Senate Veteran's Hall of Fame, established to recognize outstanding veterans from New York who have distinguished themselves in military and civilian life.
