Middle States: Assessing And Progressing

As we enter the next phase of the Middle States Self-Study process, we encourage you to continue to be an active participant in this important initiative.
In 2018–2019, Pace will have its decennial review from our regional accreditor, the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). This is an important opportunity to engage in a comprehensive self-assessment of how effectively Pace implements its mission and vision, evaluates our assessment practices, and reviews our compliance with federal and state regulations.
The Self-Study is a two-year process that began in spring 2017, and culminates in a visit by a team of peer reviewers in the spring of 2019. It is an institution-wide exercise in self-reflection that requires the participation of faculty, students, and staff from all schools/colleges, campuses, and departments. This is an opportunity to assess our activities and make recommendations to achieve University-wide progress to better Pace for the entire community.
The draft of the Self-Study report will be available to the Pace Community very shortly. When it released, we encourage you to read and comment on the report. If you haven’t already, attend a Town Hall to hear feedback and understand how Pace meets its mission. Reflect on what you and your department do to fulfill Pace’s mission.
