OER Grant Award Winners

The Office of the Provost has awarded mini-grants to Pace faculty and staff to research and create Open Educational Resources (OER) to be used in a class during the spring 2021, summer 2021, or fall 2021 semesters. Congratulations to the winners!
The Provost’s Office offered faculty the opportunity for mini-grants to research and create Open Educational Resources (OER) to be used in a class beginning in the Spring 2021, Summer 2021, or Fall 2021 semesters. OER are defined as high-quality curricular materials that are free to students and are available “open” to faculty to use with no copyright limitations, thus eliminating the cost barriers of traditional university-level textbooks. We are pleased to announce that the winners of this year’s grants:
- >> Robert Mundy, DA, Dana Cadman, MFA, and Alysa Hantga, MFA (Dyson College, Pleasantville Campus)
- >> Jessica Magaldi, JD (Lubin, New York City Campus)
- >> Jun Yuan, PhD (Seidenberg, New York City Campus)
- >> Noreen McGuire and Greg Murphy (Pace Library, to compensate faculty for reviewing materials from the Open Textbook Library)
If you are interested in learning more about OER and/or would like to meet with a member of the team to see how OER can be integrated into your course(s), please email Sue Maxam, EdD, or go to Pace's OER website.
