News Story

Pace Safety and Security will be hosting an important training session on Tuesday, November 19. Learn what to do in the event of a weather-related emergency, and receive a free preparedness kit to get you started.

The Pace Safety and Security Office is responsible for University-wide emergency policies and procedures in the event of a crisis. They handle any emergency alerts you might receive (be sure to download the Pace Safe app), and now they’re inviting you to attend their training sessions! Learn more about what you can do and how you can help if there’s ever an emergency.

With severe weather events increasing in frequency and becoming more extreme, it’s more important than ever that New Yorkers prepare for potential disasters. Learn how best to stock up on supplies, respond accordingly during a crisis, and recover as quickly as possible. Everyone who attends will receive a free preparedness kit.
