To Clothe the Naked (NYC)

News Story

Curtains up: Pace Performing Arts’ fall season begins Tuesday, October 1, with a compelling story about a young woman who dreams of becoming a character in a novelist’s new book. Tickets are available now!

Written in 1922 by Luigi Pirandello (translations by William Murray) and directed by Ruis Woertendyke, PhD, this brilliant, seldom-performed modern play of nearly 100 years ago is a story of the past and present. A sensitive young woman is used and abused by young and older men alike. She finds a home with an old novelist where she can thrash out her life’s conflicts, which still plague her. She hopes and dreams of being a character in the novelist’s new book. In the end she finally takes control of her own life.
